# Overview

DPG provides free SSL certificates to all users on our [paid plans](https://support.digitalphotogallery.com/articles/article/784bf104-ef23-11e6-a9af-6e61028599f7) to make their sites secure. 

That means your site will be served as **https**://yourdomain.com instead of **http**://yourdomain.com and users will see the lock icon in the status bar indicating that the connection is secure. 

If you added a domain before HTTPS was the default, follow [this guide](https://support.digitalphotogallery.com/articles/article/7b1e894c-74e4-11ef-9b98-62b0c3f45a7c) to point the domain to our secure servers and automatically generate an SSL certificate.
