# Enabling user management

You have the option to secure the site behind a secure login system. Doing so will allow you to restrict access only to visitors with a username and password. All downloads will also be uniquely encoded so that they can be traced back to the user that downloaded them.

> 💡 **Tip:** You need to be in Standard or Advanced Edit Mode to access the security settings.
