# Batch editing categories

To batch edit a category name, first go to a blog post with that category applied to it. In the **Categories** panel, click on the category name. 

You will see a list of all the posts in that category. In the **Edit category** panel, make any changes to the category name and click **Update**. 

This will update all the posts within that category.
