# Making components user editable

Any components you add will be manageable by you in development mode, but it's likely that you will want to make some of them easy for standard users to manage.

You can make your component editable from the components screen within any page.

If you are working from an existing template you can see how other components have been made editable from the main websites screen. You can also use this menu to change the order of editable components which changes the order which they are showen to the user.
