If you have uploaded images with information such as titles, descriptions or keywords exported from your editing software, but didn't turn on the metadata switch on the upload screen, this information won't appear in the system. You can extract this metadata from the images once they have been uploaded.

Select images and click the **Extract** button to run the process.

Data that will be extracted if present:

*  Title
*  Description
*  Keywords
*  Creation date

Once the extract is complete, the recovered data will appear in the **Information** and **Keywords** tabs as normal.

To make sure that metadata is included on upload, check that the "Get details from image metadata" toggle is in the on position.
